Therefore, when Helena Parrott – Executive VA/Director of Virtually Smart launch Virtually Smart in 2017; she brought with her an inordinate amount of business management knowledge & a vastly diverse skills set.
Helena Parrott’s Executive VA skills transcend the complexities of administration support & have over the past three years developed into a full Online Business Management system for her Senior Leadership & Management level clients.
Helena’s proficiencies cover a wide range of OBM support, with over twenty years of experience to bolster her expertly efficient online business support solutions. Herewith is a snapshot of the works Helena is currently undertaking in her recent support role for the Dolphin N2 team as they forge their way forwards (this list is non exhaustive)
- Full EA support to the Dolphin N2 CEO & entire Senior Leadership team including: attending daily SLT Zoom meetings & acting upon any expectations & or needs presented by the SLT team, coordinating with & updating the UK team & international partners, leading meetings, preparing presentations, group diary management, inbox management & any & all support the team need to allow them to continue with their extensive projects & developments
- Being the point of contact for all new starters
- Collating & implementing documentation pertaining to international patents & legalities surrounding patents for the Dolphin N2 CryoPower engine
- Liaising directly with Government agencies with regards to Grants & Funding
- Being instrumental in the support of the entire team as they spun out from Ricardo Plc in December 2019, including setting up new offices, implementing an entirely new IT systems & support for the team, ensuring all contracts were current & up to date
- Ensuring all documentation & legal necessities pertaining to Dolphin N2 becoming an independent entity being in place including all policies & procedures
As the Dolphin N2 team continues to develop & grow, so too does the need for additional Business Management solutions to ensure a seamless support package is on hand for the Dolphin N2 team.
It is with this in mind that Helena has strengthened & diversified the Virtually Smart team with the introduction of Tiff Bowry, who is supporting Helena in a developmental capacity for Dolphin N2 & Virtually Smart.
We now introduce Tiff Bowry as part of the Virtually Smart team & hear from her about her background & how her expertise is supporting Virtually Smart & Dolphin N2 alike.
“My background is Senior Management within the Charity sector, alongside staff development & best practice.
I can offer expertise in Policy & Procedure creation and development, staff development, including training, Equality & diversity, mental health & social / corporate responsibility alongside Management coaching & development.
Currently I am working with Virtually Smart & Dolphin N2 to update all policies & procedures, ensuring they reflect who DN2 are, are relevant, recognise inclusivity, diversity & are as easy to use as possible. I also support both Dolphin N2 and Virtually Smart in an HR capacity.
I can think like a Senior Manager & am able to look at the whole that individual teams or projects feed into”
In addition to Tiff Bowry strengthening the Virtually Smart team, Jane Wasley continues to support Helena & continue the diversity of skills Virtually Smart can offer to Senior Leadership Teams & Business Management teams alike:
Jane Wasley provides general administration to Virtually Smart & clients as needed. Jane manages the Virtually Smart Toggl tracking entries for Helena & generates Helena’s invoices.
Jane supports Helena with various research projects as required, including supplier research & gathering quotes, creating comparison documents for review.
In addition, Jane has created a 2021 holiday tracker for the Dolphin team & she also helps Helena monitor, track & reconcile all company payments.
Katy-Jane who has been supporting Helena since January 2018, continues to offer expertly written online content & monitors the social media streams for Dolphin N2 & Virtually Smart alike. Katy-Jane also supports Helena with events preparation & design options for online content.
